How are ratings calculated?

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don't use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

It worked on the very first attempt! These cupcakes are my practice batch. I made flowers on standard cupcakes and mini cupcakes. I used medium buttercream frosting. The trick to get it to work for me was to put the frosting bag in the freezer for several seconds before piping. I also added in leaves with a Wilton leaf tip I already had.

Tried them all for the first time today and I had so much fun. Some tips yield the same results/look and if I'd have it my way I would only get 3 of them. I still need to practice A LOT and for now I need to stick to the ones that are easier to work with. Also, I have yet to find a good stiff buttercream recipe for the perfect piping consistency. Today I used a stiff consistency frosting made with all shortening. Need to find a recipe that is made with all butter so I can eat it lol.

Every tip requires a different amount of pressure plus you have to figure out which ones look good piped shorter or taller. The only thing that I do not like about these tips is that they use up a lot of frosting. Not only that, the last two or three inches of frosting is unusable. Once you only have frosting left that sits right in the piping tip, it's difficult to pipe from there on. You can only pipe until you can squeeze the bag. Wouldn't recommend pushing the frosting through with your fingers. It's terribly hard to have a good control. I hope I am making sense! Other than that I think these tips are good to have in a baker's arsenal. Still glad I gave them a whirl. I will practice some more and hopefully I will get so much better!

Well made piping tips for sure. Be ready to figure out a perfect icing though. To runny and you'll never get close to a flower, too firm and you'll pop your icing bag! Lots of trial and error for me. I suggest disposable piping bags because these tips are very large and won't fit most pastry bags. When you cut the bags be sure to cut just enough for the very tip to clear the bag. You want a lot of bag to hold onto these. The tips with the round holes I found to be the most difficult, the icing liked to hang onto the tip rather than the cupcake. Hope you're patient!

I use these with pastry bags I also purchased from Amazon. It takes a little getting used to. I suggest the ilauke bags because they are strong and won't stretch or break under pressure. It also helps if your frosting is of the proper consistency for easy flow. The nozzles are of good quality material and not flimsy.

These are not going to be your most icing-efficient (a little more waste) and you will have to practice, but the results are FUN. I'm enjoying using them for butter mints, making a green leaf base with different colored flower mints, totally worth the effort, and not as big a deal if I mess up a few, each one is in a different individual small paper candy cup.

Unique designs for decorating baked goods. I also enjoyed using the tri-color tip -- certainly got a lot of positive feedback on the look of the triple colors.

I've been decorating cakes for years so I figured this would be a cinch. Not so. I've played with different consistencies in frosting and with most of them, the designs still don't end cleanly. I didn't want to have to go to culinary school to learn how to use tips of this kind. Maybe you'll have better luck

They are good quality and easy to use but, every flower looked exactly the same. Maybe I need practice but literally, they looked the same. I was able to make beautiful cupcakes for a baby shower albeit the same in design. I'm keeping them.
